European Poker Tour was held in Barcelona and was completed tonight at the quaint Casino de Barcelona, which is located in the Port Olympic district. Now they are announcing the winner of the first prize of the tournament. This is Jan Boubli, a former dentist from France, who became with 416,000 Euros richer.
He has beaten 325 other poker players in the $4,000 Euro buy-in event of European Poker Tour. He won not only the big prize, but a seat in the $10,000 Euro buy-in Grand Finale event. This great poker contest that will be held in Monte Carlo in March of 2006.
The event buy-in in 2004 was $1,000 Euros and 227 poker players played for the big prize pool. The winner first EPT event was Alexander Stevic. Unfortunately the Swede was eliminated on Day One this year and he could not defend his title.
